The Waddling Penguins
The Waddling penguins. This fun Automaton was a commision that I have just completed for a customer. All he asked was for 2 penguins walking. I made a few sketches and a couple of prototypes and after much sawdust, shavings and wood for the fire, this is waht I came up with. Two waddling penguins with some icebergs to enhance the scene. Oak,basswood and other hardwoods were used to create this interesting unique automaton...take a look.
